I have an ENT version and a failover server. On the Dashboard on the Admin Consol there is a storage option, and Automatic Backup. Now if the Storage option is enabled, I cannot see any of my backups in the backup tab. When the storage is disabled, I can. Now If the Storage is enabled and Auto backup turned on, it won't do the scheduled backup and says can't backup. If I turn off the Backup tab in the archive storage it then disables the schedule backup, and I then see my backups in the backup tab. When I then enable the Auto backup schedule, the backup tab in the archive storage automatically turns on and then I can't see any of the backups in the backup tabs, and it won't do the backups. Now If the Storage option is disabled then the scheduled backup works fine. Any ideas why this is happening

Once you configue the storge, it will show what backups you have on the storage server, not the ones you have on the PBX itself.

Once the backups are done on a schedule, or if you now create a backup, it will be moved to the storage and you should see your backups from this point onwards showing there.

@NicholasP_3CX they are not. When the storage is enabled then there is nothing listed on the backup tab. But if the storage is disabled then the backup files appear. So why is that. What’s the difference using the backup either from storage tab or backup tab. But if storage tab is enabled along with scheduled backup then my schedule backup is not happening and keeps saying something about temporary files. But if the storage is disabled then it backs up on schedule no issues

Nope

Because you have not done any backups to go to the storage yet. Once a backup is done they will start showing.

the backups you have on your local drive already will not show on the storage unless you copy paste them over.

Its 2 different locations. Its like me opening a CCTV camera and expecting to see someone in my remote office, when the person is actually sitting right next to me.

@NicholasP_3CX But when the storage is set to enable and the auto backup is scheduled then why isn’t the backup happening or why am I getting errors vs when it’s disabled then the auto backups go as scheduled without any issues

I've got a similar experience. I prefer my backups to remain local on the VM running 3CX and stored at the path expressed under backup --> settings (for the backups to be dealt with differently). But as I've also got Storage set to GCP (for archiving of recordings), it's also backing up to this GCP location. If I disable the Backup Archive setting (under system --> storage), then the scheduled backups don't run (set under backup --> scheduled backup). In fact, if I untick the Backup Archive option, the scheduled backups settings (under backup --> scheduled backup) also get unticked.
