This guide will walk you through the steps to configure a Bandwidth SIP Trunk with 3CX. It also covers the steps necessary to configure a number for SMS.

Take note of the below special configuration requirements for Bandwidth:

• Enter the main trunk number as E164.

Yup! Same here. We just had them flip the switch on the backend to deliver as e164 and the two systems that were not working, v20, are now working and the other 67 systems that were working all broke and our entire time had to run an emergency fix.

Oh noooo!!! That sounds stressful. Im sorry you're having to deal with that. It makes me wonder why they wouldn't have had them in E164 to begin with.

Glad to see you are back online. For what is worth our test accounts are always receiving calls with E164 so this is how we test.
In the next update we will not be forcing any template to E164.

Note: If you are planning to also use SMS from Bandwidth you need to use the E164 number format as the SMS messages API is in E164 so the formats needs to match.
