Apologies that this has probably been asked before but I can't find it so a link to the answer would be useful if one exists?

Due to the current situation with Covid-19 we have no receptionists/switchboard taking the incoming calls for the businesses here. I have successfully set up an Auto attendant and the calls are then passed to ring groups (which ring all the included extensions) dependent upon what the caller chooses, so far so good and it does seem to work well for the most part.

I have a question though about what happens to the call in certain circumstances. All of my ring groups are set to pass the caller to a specific voicemail if there is no answer from the group within 30 seconds but what happens if, for example, all the phones in the group are busy but one of the extensions is set to forward calls to a different voicemail? Does the call get returned to the original ring group voicemail extension or does it get passed to the voicemail on the extension within the ring group because the call didn't "timeout"?

I hope that is fairly clear? I can obviously give a more detailed breakdown if required.

All calls will follow the ring group destination if no answer regardless if specific extensions in the ring group are set to forward somewhere else. I hope that answers your question?

Thank you for the swift response, that answers my question perfectly.
