Beginner question

Hi there,
I am Carsten from Germany and just wanted to start with the free edition. As I am not able to ask something in the German forum I´m glad that it´s working here now because my first question was what to to in the case help is needed

Our situation is that we are only a 2 people business and thought we give it a try as it looks like it can deliver what we are looking for.

After going through the guides most things are clear but I could not solve one question regarding the Android App. We both have our landline number and when we install the Android App does it ring simultaneously on that number or is this a call group (only one available) like I would have two different numbers to ring simultaneously?

You can have only 1 number and create a group with two user with different extension. And yes with one number you can received two calls at a same time...(simultaneously)
And regarding call receive if you want to ring in both extension you can create accordingly.

Das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Das deutsche Forum steht nach wie vor jedem dort registrierten Nutzer auch für Fragen zur Verfügung.

@Mercy1885 thank you so much for the fast reply, meaning my number ringing on my yealink IP phone and Android app is not counting as a ring group, correct?

One user/extension can have multiple phones...web client, mobile app, desk phone. They will all ring when the user/extension receives a call.

A ring group is used when two or more different users receive the same call.
