beta version on LG phone does not load presence

version 15.5.344.492 on LG Stylo2 android 7.0 kernel 3.10.49 build NRD90U Software version LS775ZVB

I loaded .492 and everything works except presence. it shows "loading" with the circle progress indicator spinning. reboot and reinstalls did nothing

any ideas?

i have other android clients on the same lan that work fine. actually this is the first that i've seen this issue. 5001 is open and reachable but i don't know of a way to verify this on the mobile phone or client itself. my samsung next to his LG on the same network and mine works but his does not.

Shawn, in the Management Console, check if extension is allowed to work outside of LAN.

the extension was not allowed to work outside the lan but i unchecked the "Disallow use of extension outside the LAN" option and it's still acting the same way. still says loading with progress indicator circling. i have about about 10 mobile phones of different varieties (ios and android) on the same wifi network and have not experienced this with any of them. i do believe this is the first LG phone that i've put on the network

I see that parameter's description is "Disallow use of extension", not "Disallow use of desk phones" - to me it looks a pretty clear and accurate description.

you're right, pretty self explanatory. either case, i'm still experiencing the same issue with this one particular phone.

Same issue on Note 3 (Android 4.4)
Works fine on other Samsung n Pixel

2 phones with the same version android client, on the same wireless network with the same config file. one connects and functions fine while the other shows disconnected, waiting for network. it's on hook but status is not green. if i call the extension, both phones ring. presence does not load.
see attached pictures of the phones side by side.

any ideas why this would happen?

Shawn this appears to be the same problem I am having except I have a number of different types of cell phones that are not working. I m curious if yours works if you turn on WIFI. Mine work fine on any WIFI just not on a Cell carriers network. If you notice the one phone says waiting for network thus no presence. My original post is below.

Curtis, I was going to reply but you beat me to it. Yes, they are both on wifi and one doesn't even have sim in it.

If on the same local WiFi you have two or more (almost) identical configured 3CX clients, but some shows "On Hook" and have presence, while others shows "On Hook" but have no presence (and showing "Waiting for network") a good idea is to check the Management Console's blacklist - there is a good chance the phone not working is having its IP blacklisted.

Both phone has 100% same configuration

I sent 2 extension configuration to 2 phone
and registered 2 extensions one at a time on Note 3 (Android 4.4), NO presence information for both extensions

Where Pixel (Android 8.1) Works fine with both extesions
Pixel and Note 3 are connected to same WiFi, Same subnet

Then I uninstalled 15.5.344.492 and installed 3CX App 15.5.342.392 back on on Note 3, works fine

It is very clear App version 15.5.344.492 does not go well with Android 4.4 in my case
