Geachte, Graag wilde ik een betere integratie van Snom D865 toestellen in 3Cx software. Hieronder volgen de features: - Keuze van en volume van het inkomend belsignaal - Verkleining van het oproepscherm, zodat de functietoetsen op de zijkant zichtbaar en bruikbaar blijven. - Helderheid van het scherm dimmen voor een toestel op de slaapkamer. - Mogelijkheid van meerdere bladzijden en dus meerdere functies mogelijk maken voor de functietoetsen aan de zijkant. (next en previous page) - Foto's van de opgeroepene of oproeper (indien opgeladen) te zien krijgen Al deze features zijn bruikbaar op het toestel, maar worden overruled door de 3cx software. Firstly, please note that on StartUP there are less features and options because it is a simpler product than the full dedicated 3CX server. Some of the customizations you want can already be done when using a dedicated 3CX system.

So for D862 / D865 models on a dedicated 3CX server see the following:

- Ringtone: Can be controlled from 3CX already for internal calls, and queue calls. External calls is hardcoded, we override this and there are no plans to change this but you can use a custom template if you wish.


- Ringing Volume: Not controlled by 3CX - not planned to be added

- Screen Brightness: This is already available, but only in the options you see below


- Active calls screen size hiding the BLFs: This is a Snom decision, we don't control this - contact Snom for more details

- BLF Pagination: We already informed Snom and they will address this in the next firmware release

- Contact Photos: We do not provision or override this.

Thank you for the feedback.



The options for screen brightness do not work. I have put in ‘always off’ for the bedroom device. It stays in the initial option ‘dim after 20 seconds’.



For the other remarks, I wait for the update of the firmware.



It is not possible in the 3cx system management to upload contact photos. I don’t see any button in order to do this.

I'm not sure if it is possible to have it off entirely in the bedroom, maybe you should consult with Snom if they have a way to do this.

Yes it is not possible to upload photos from 3CX to the phones.

Hello,

Yes, Snom has a feature in the phone device. When I put the feature active, the next day, it has disappeared. It will not be active anymore. I am looking for a permanent active feature. I don't know what happens : is it 3CX or Snom that overrides the active feature.

Hi Tom,

Whenever the phone auto-provisions (daily) the 3CX template will overwrite the LCD settings.

You can create a custom template on 3CX which allows you to edit the config yourself but there are a few caveats you need to consider:

- you have to host your own dedicated 3CX instance
- this is not available on StartUP or Hosted by 3CX instances
- custom templates are not supported by 3CX in case you have any issues
- custom templates need to be updated and maintained manually by the customer
