I am in a bit of a pickle. It all started when I received "Amazon EC2 Instance Retirement" email. I had updated everything once before and it went fine. This time though I'm not sure how it went so wrong. I keep entering the same password I always have (Copied and pasted from email). but it just didnt work. Unfortunately i have tried from all my different IP's and it appears im blacklisted on all of them. How do I get un blacklisted?

Hi @Mitch Fairbanks,

We have a KB to allow you access to your instance provided you still have SSH / Remote Desktop access

Which brings me to my next problem. My private key information is on a computer that is no longer used. At this point in time I am fine with just rebuilding from scratch. Do I just release my 3cx instance on AWS and create a new 3cx account? Will the ip address still be blocked? Can you please advise?

Ok found my .pem key and converted it to .ppk. I can log on with putty just fine after i type admin. But i can not access 127.0.0.1:5000 as in the instructions. I tried changing ports from 45000 but still no luck. Im almost there. Is there any other advice?

Hi @Mitch Fairbanks,

When you follow the tutorial above, you should be attempting to connect to 127.0.0.1:45000 not 5000. Are you stuck or did you resolve this?
