Hi all.

We've done 4 deployments of 3CX Hosted with either Pro or Enterprise licensing. All deployments have used Yealink T54W handsets and we configure up BLF buttons for each extension.

On all 4 deployments.... all extensions show up as available / green on all Yealink handsets, regardless of whether the extension is registered or not. Previous experience has been that unregistered extensions will not show up green on the BLF button for that extension. I have also tested an old Grandstream handset and it shows the same too.

Colour does change to solid red if the extension is on a call... or flashing red if a call is ringing for that extension.

I can confirm that none of the extensions in question are signed in via webclient, iOS / Android app etc. The web client does show the correct registration status Ie.. if an extension is not registered, it does not show up.

Am I missing anything? Handsets are running the latest 3CX firmware of 96.86.0.76. Again.. this is 3CX hosted. Issue happens whether all handsets are running in SBC/Router mode or if there is a single extension running SBC / Router mode and all other handsets are in normal mode working through that SBC. Different routers and ISPs at each site.

TIA.

Not quiet clear what the problem is here. Can you expand a little please.

Have you gone back to a basic configuration, 2 extensions, no other registrations and reviewed the results?

Hi, there is not presence when provisioning BLF in the deskphone.

You can configure only the options available in the drop down menu from the extension, for example If you select to monitor a user, then the BLF will monitor just the CALL STATUS, it means if the user is busy, ringing or free of calls, it will not monitor the presence to know if it is registered or not.

Thanks for the clarification folks.

Previous systems I've dealt with would indicate if an extension was unregistered by showing the BLF button having no light and a X through the graphic next to the button description.

As mentioned.. the status does work when in a call... or of their extension is ringing. Would just have been handy to know if an extension was down when it should be up.

Thanks anyways.
