BLF Intercom

The client is looking to be able to press a blf for intercom but then type the number of the extension that they want.

I can *8(ext) in the custom speed dial and the intercom works correctly.

Is there a way to dial the *8 for the intercom but then pause allowing for user input of an extension. Right now if I hit the intercom custom speed dial that just has the *8 in it it tells me not found….it is a yealink T42S.

I have not tried this, but my guess is that you could create a Call Flow Designer (CFD) that prompts the caller for the extension number, and then transfers the caller to *8<extension>
