Is it possible to prevent external callers from dialing by extension to certain extensions?

This is only possible by creating exceptions under each extension that are not allowed to be dialed and set to end the call.

For example, and from under the extesnions forwarding rules > Exceptions, create a new exception as follows if the extesnion that ios nto allowed to call them is, i.e,101.

I want internal extensions to be allowed to call these extensions, I don't want an external caller to be able to call the main number, and dial by extension to these specific extensions at the digital receptionist.

As an example, is there a way to have it end all calls to an extension that are 7, 10, or 11 digits long?

Apologies for the misunderstanding are external callers reaching an IVR and then from the IVR you want to disallow them to reach the extension directly?

This is all-or-nothing im afraid and can be achieved by switching the VR from a standard IVR to a DTMF input IVR

Then settibsg the destination same as you have with the standard IVR to but you also have extra options you can chose for the DTMF inputs, so here is chose when 0 is presed to go to EXT 000

Then when 11 is dialed will go to a queue and so on

WIth DTMF IVRs there is no direct daling to reach any extension.

You are welcome. Glad to help.
