Block external incoming calls from being able to dial certain extensions

If I have a digital receptionist that allows calling by extension, is there a way I can block external callers from dialing certain extensions and not others?

The best solution is to change the Standard Type IVR to a DTMF IVR. This will not give this option to external callers.

So SweetAction, the post you reference.... where exactly do I input a regular expression into an IVR? They show the regular expression, I understand that, but where do I add it to my digital receptionist?

TheodorosG_3CX, if I did that, that would cut off dial by extension to all my extensions, correct?

Apologies, I didn't see this was in the Hosted Forum. You can only do this on a SelfHost / OnPrem setup.
