Block international calling on 3cx app only

Hello All

One of my clients doesn't want an international calling facility to enable on the 3cx app but the same international facility should work on the office desk phone with the same extension.

Is it possible?

I dont believe so as blocking is done on a per extension basis when using outbound rules or globally when using security settings.

As @kieferschild rightly pointed out, this isn't possible as it would apply on the extension level, not per device / client.

What is your use case? Perhaps we can suggest something else?

I don't want the international call user groups to use 3cx on the app at all.

Hi @srane.sushant,

You could set the "Block Outbound calls outside of Office Hours" (Select Extension >> Options) option on the extensions, which if you're working with a PBX which has set office hours, will disallow international calls after hours but will allow internal calls.
