I bought a new phone.
However the model is not new, the device exists since more then one year, but I bought it just now. It is a little bit a strange phone, but therefore i bought it. It has a keyboard (similar to the blackberries), and it looks like a "SUV" version of the blackberry passport. The name is unihertz titan. Came with Android 10 preinstalled. Has google services built in.
Now, when I make a call, and the 3CX app is set to the telecom api enabled, a strange thing happens:
After i push the dial button, a new window/app opens with a plain blue background and the device vibrates onece, in the middle on the top a symbol of a user profile, on the bottom the hangup symbol.
Calling does work normal, but I have to make an app switch so the 3CX app is back in the focus to terminate the call.

Any idea if this can be fixed?
I have rooted the phone, so I should be able to tinker with anything that is possible.

can you sent us a screenshot of this please?

Well, I have to admit that I have never seen this side-effect of "Telecom API" before.

If with Telecom API disabled this does not happen, I think you should certainly keep it switched off.

I used the call switcher, to see all running apps, then I was able to push the info button about this screen. It tells me this is the (built in) phone app. I can even terminate it. Call will continue.
Otherwise everything else works ok. I dont think this is a real problem. Looks rather like the android system tries to notify the user that a call is ongoing.

You're probably right, but just to be clear, with the "Telecom API" option to OFF, this problem doesn't appear right?

correct.
Maybe teleom api is not optimal for the unexperienced user, because if you want to enter dtmf tones after establishing a call you have to kill the phone app and return to the 3cx app.

I think it just needs to be disabled for this model like we have with some others, but I am sure our Developers have seen this and make the necessary adjustments for this phone model.... ;)

Since this phone runs a nearly unmodified android 10, similar things could happen to anyone using a Mediatek P70 and Anrdoid 10. Maybe.
