Is there any way to setup a bridge between 3CX & a Barracuda phone system? I followed the instructions here, but it is not working.
https://www.3cx.com/docs/

I was able to setup trunks between 3CX & Barracuda, but when placing calls between them it does not show the correct extension number that is calling & I have to create inbound rules for each extension in 3CX for calls coming from the Barracuda to the 3CX to route correctly.

There should be a number sent, for call set-up, and a caller ID number. The number sent, would be the number dialled by the call plus (possibly), any digits added by the originating PBX. The incoming calls, if using a bridge trunk, and assuming correct digits sent, should ring the dialled extension. You should not have to set up DID rules as you would with a provider trunk. What does the Activity Log look like for an incoming call?

Caller ID, from the originator, may be another matter altogether.

Yes it is possible to use either method (trunk or bridge) to connect 3CX to another PBX. There are pros and cons to each method. But it sounds like everything is working exactly as you set it up. So if it's not working the way you want, you need to change the setup. Of course you have to setup inbound rules if you set it up as a trunk because its viewed as an external call and the Barracuda is presenting a number that 3CX needs to know how to route.

Here is the activity log when the Barracuda tries to register to the 3CX.

This is how I have the Barracuda setup. Any ideas why it isn't working?
