Hello!

I am trying to Link 2 3cx systems together.(Version 18 Update 9) Both hosted by 3cx

I have:
made a Master bridge with the Virtual ext of 10100 and used that on both sides.
made a slave bridge with the password from the master.
clicked tunnel and put the IP of the master in the slave and the slave in the master.

I am getting this error on the slave is
Call or Registration to remote has failed. sip:10100@(IP ADDRESS):5090 replied: 502 Invalid bridge ID; warning: Invalid bridge ID; from IP:127.0.0.1:5080

It doesnt seem like a hard process but its not working?

Any help appreciated

First ensure both PBX pass firewall test and check blacklist IP on both PBX.

HI!
Both PBX's are hosted by 3cx and are on real IP and pass the firewall tests

Can you send screenshots from both master and slave set up page?

I see you used 5090 which implies tunnel, the bridge might take 2-3 minutes to come up in this case so please give it a few minutes.

You probably tried to delete and recreate the slave bridge at some point during troubleshooting? This would have been responsible for warning: Invalid bridge ID

Thanks for the info.

The bridge is now registered and I did an outbound route prefix code and its working.

Just a question.. How will I see presense? I dont see the remote extensions in the webclient nor can I see them to add them to a BLF?

Also noticed that you cant call Queues or Ring groups between PBX's ... is that by design or is there a way around that?

Hello all,

Does anybody know the answer to my question above?

Im still waiting on screenshots.

BLF presence over bridges isnt possible.

BLF presence over bridges isnt possible.
That's correct, BLFs do not equal presence, and presence does not equal BLFs.

Two separate entities:

- BLFs are a standard SIP feature that monitors the call state of extensions within the PBX, not outside of it.

- Presence is a custom 3CX service that shows a user's status in the 3CX clients (web/desk/mobile).

We can carry that info over bridges, but you cannot SIP subscribe to monitor a BLF under a PBX that you are not an extension of.

If you cannot see the remote extensions in the webclient, you can try to use the domain name(not IP) to connect two 3CX server, and check if it will be OK.
