Webclient not able to see other branch extensions. I have a client with multiple 3CX installs connected through bridges. They are connect through site to site VPNs with Sophos UTM9 routers. The client has an IT staff that setup the routers for 3CX. All 3CX installs pass the firewall checker. The bridges are up and working, I am using the xxxx.ca.3cx.us:5001 FQDN in the Receive Information box, all the extensions are listed in who can see the remote presence. I am able to log into the webclient of a branch from another branch. What test can I run to show the client IT staff what is being blocked? They are blaming it on 3CX.

First things first, are you on Version 18? Or Version 20?

If you are on version 18, please check the following:

1. Is the PBX you are trying to see presence actually using 5001? or 443? Sometimes people get confused with the example in the label of the field and put 5001 eventhough they are using 443.

2. Check from the PBX that the FQDN of the PBX is being resolved to its proper IP Address. As it is through a VPN this may be the internal IP Address of the PBX.

Ver 18.9. Using 5001, I checked the settings in 3CX and it shows 5001. I have tried nslookup on the FQDN's from the remote locations and it does resolve to the correct external address.

I ended up creating split dns with our MS dns servers, working now.
