Hi Everyone.
I'm working on a solution that has some conflicting requirements from a 3CX point of view, and I'm trying to come up with the best work around.
The solution will cover a large number of sites (20+). The conflicting requirements are:
1. Users should all be on the same system
2. Specific remote sites require the ability to make internal calls when WAN / VPN links are down (and further to this to be able to use a GSM gateway for external calls)
My initial design is a hybrid solution with one major PBX at head office that will not only support the users at head office, but a majority of the satellite sites. And stand alone PBX's at the specific sites that require calls during a WAN / VPN outage. These sites would also have GSM gateways for backup outbound calls. These satellite PBXs would be bridged together.
But the gotcha is they are looking to have all their SIP trunking centralised in Head Office. So my question is can a satellite PBX with a bridge back to Head Office, utilise the SIP trunks from head office?
Thanks in advance
