Hi there,

When 2 or more systems are bridged together, are the systems able to see the remote extentions / users in the contacts list / phone book?
I've read this isn't possible on desk phones, which makes sense.
How about the Windows app / iOS?

Thanks!

There is no sharing of the company contacts between bridged 3CX servers. However, years ago I created a "unified directory" that combined the extension lists, real-time presence status, contact information, etc. It would not be difficult to create a combined contacts list and synchronize the list between the two servers. Similarly, I've always wanted to create a combined/enhanced "Company Directory" too where callers could be directed to lookup a user's extension and have a combined list. Both of these tasks would be straightforward to implement if you are interested.

Bridged extensions can send presence between the systems. In the Presence tab of the bridge you can select which departments to send over to the other PBX and which users will receive and see the presence from the other side.

You wont see that in the contacts, but under team. The in the drop down you will see the name of the bridge and the department on the other side.

Now, for contacts, you could have the PBXs connected with M365 and have those contacts imported into each of the systems.
