HI all

Scenario:

PBX A bridged with PBX B

What is the best way I should route calls from A to B over the bridge?

As soon as calls come in, they need to go to B as A is closed.

Hi @kieferschild,

The best practice would be to not have overlapping extension numbers on both PBXs (such that there is not a 101 on A and a 101 on B). If configured this way you can just create an outbound rule that matches the extension digit length and numbers starting with (i.e 2 for 200 - 299). Set your destination if no answer to route to through the bridge.

On the other hand, if you have overlapping extension numbers, have your outbound rule configured with a prefix of your choice, choose the length based on (prefix+digit length of extensions) then simply have your out of office configured to route to the other PBX e.g (22800).
