When you are on a call and need to bring another person into the call IF you hit an automated attendant there is no way to dial anything in the webclient to get to an extension.

Also in the web client the number pad is dead after the call is connected...

Once you are connected to a Digital Receptionist, the number pad works just fine. This was taken with using 3CX V16 Update 7 (v16.0.7.1078).

Do you mean while on an active call, when you hit the Conference button and then have to go through an IVR?

@NickD_3CX
The flow is this.
I use the 3CX EDGE PLUG IN provided by 3CX
I use the number pad on the keyboard to make a call
I get a person on the phone and we need to add someone
I click on conference
I then use the keyboard number pad to dial the other party
I get an automated attendant and need to press a key
At that point there is no way to effect a response from either the mouse or the number pad on the keyboard.

In that case let me change the title of the Thread.

I understand now. Indeed by doing this you cannot enter DTMF, but you can achieve the same thing in a slightly different way:
  1. Call A
  2. Put A on hold and create a New Call and call B
  3. Go through the IVR and you reach the person you want
  4. Press Transfer and transfer them to 700**<your extension number> (e.g. if you extension is 100, that would be 700**100)
  5. Resume call with A and transfer them also to 700**<your extension number>
  6. Call yourself 700**<your extension number>
At this point all 3 of you will be in the same conference.

I know it's a few more steps, but this works and you can even go on adding even more participants if you want.

A bit of background info, each extension has its own personal conference, which you can send people to by transferring anyone to 700**<your extension number>
(if PBX is 4-digit, it would be 7000, 5-digit 70000, etc)

It does take a bit of getting used to, but traversing IVRs is a bit tricky, so the users can always use the "Conference" button if its e.g. a mobile number, but if they know ithey will meet an IVR, they can use this method, that allows them to perform any call action they want, plus add as many participants that they want.
