Solved BT HSIPT missing on 3cx hosted

Hi,

I’ve noticed on the latest 3cx alpha release when hosted by 3cx it no longer has the option for BT HSIPT in the UK.

I know this version removed support for IP based authentication such as BT WSIP when hosted by 3cx. However BT HSIPT is username/password based so thought this would be safe to continue using on hosted by 3cx.

Can you confirm if this was removed for another reason?

BT HSIPT is indeed not supported for our hosted environment because although they are registered based they seem to have limitations on where the trunks can register from. When we contacted BT to clarify this we never got an answer back so we cannot currently support the trunk.
A good way to check if your trunk is supported for Hosted by 3CX is to check our supported providers page and look for the "Hosted by 3CX Support" value.
