Bug - setting user status in admin not updated in assistant

I reported this before under V7 when working with the SDK and it still persists in V8.

If you set an extensions user status in either the web admin, windows admin, or the .Net API it is not updated in the 3cx Assistant until it is refreshed. This is unlike dialing *60,*61 or using the assistant, which updates all assistant immediately.

Hi,

We consider this to be Normal behaviour, it's not every day that you change the Administrator rights for an extension.
The same appplies for any other rights you are giving your extension, if you give them any other kind of right you still have to refresh the Assistant
It's just 1 Mouse Click away really You cant even say it's a hassle.

Not sure what you mean by "Administrator Right". I am talking about Available or Away Status not being in sync.

If you set an Extension to Away through the web interface, it is truly away, if you call the extension 3cx treats it as away, unfortunately the Assistants do not reflect this, they are now out of sync with the phone system state.

Obviously setting away through the assistant or dialing *60/*61 triggers a notification to the assistants that the web interface nor the API sends.

Do you really consider the Assistant showing the incorrect user status normal behavior?

This is a problem for users changing their status through the myPhone portal.
