I love 3CX, but i dislike their approach to reporting obvious bugs in the software. There appears to be nowhere official to post them, and no way to track progress if they are picked up as genuine bugs. When i did try to report a couple, because i hadn't paid for support, I was unable to do so other than on this forum. No one from 3cx has commented on them. I understand the 3cx support model works around paying for tickets, however genuine bugs in your software are not support tickets, and if we report them, we are doing you a favour, not the other way round.

Part of the issue I think (as you have eluded already) is the ability to recognise what is an actual bug or not - I can imagine 3CX are bombarded with requests on a daily basis which simply arent actual bugs and are either an error in user configuration or something un-related to 3CX.

There are also a lot of requests out there that people consider bugs, but are by design.

I think the best way (in my opinion) to tackle this is with either a separate forum area or inbox to report bugs which can be reviewed by 3CX staff.

i totally agree with your suggestion. When in the case of one of my reported bugs, you have a report that should report either today or yesterdays (depending on when you report) queue stats, but is always several days behind if you modify it because of the way the reports has to initially be setup, its a bug and definitely not by design or a feature request. Problem is, their is no way to report that bug to them.

Why not simply describe the issue here, and see if others have encountered the same problem. There have been other "bug" posts, in his forum, and 3CX has responded.

Hi. I'm facing same Schedule Report issue. Multiple Hour-by-hour daily reports scheduled still show the same data/reports' for the initial date when first set on the next days. Thank you
