I am designing my first call flow named "3CX_Main_Menu" and when I attempt a "build all" it does not generate a ZIP file. Instead, I get the following error.

Error: Exception building project: Access to the path 'Audio' is denied.

The audio files linked to each menu are stored in the default folder right where you'd expect them to be. \Documents\3CX_Main_Menu\Audio
The is a Windows 10 PC. The 3CX call flow designer created these folders, and no special rights or restrictions have been made to the folders ACL.
I went in and changed the ACL to include "Full rights for everyone" but it still gives me the same error.
I went in and deleted the folder and created a new one with the same name but it still gives me the same error.

Anyone know why this is happening & how to fix it?

Hello,

That's weird, if the CFD created the folders, it should have access to them...

Is this a network share by any chance? In that case, try with a local folder instead.

No, this is the local users document folder
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\3CX_Main_Menu

Can you make a ZIP of your CFD project sources and send it to me in a private message?

Also, if you have files in the "Audio" folder, ensure that they're not readonly.

Files are not read only. Folder WAS read only. Changed it and restarted CFD and still get the same error.

I'm starting to wonder if it thinks the "path 'Audio' " is what I think it is....

One would think that it is referring to C:\Users\<username>\Documents\3CX_Main_Menu\Audio
But maybe CFD thinks it is somewhere else?

⚠ Important: When using a Dynamic Audio file prompt, the expression that creates the file name must return a string containing the file path relative to the project audio folder, or the absolute path to the file. If the audio file is located in your project Audio folder, then you just need to refer to it by its name, no special path information is required. The project Audio folders are:

  • Windows: “C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Ivr\Prompts\Callflows\project\”
  • Linux: “/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Prompts/Callflows/project/”
where “project” is the name of the project, in lowercase.

Is there a max length to the audio file name?

edit: Meh. I renamed all the files shorted and added them back to initial and subsequent prompts and saved/build. Same error. No joy. :(

Cant attach ZIP files to private messages. Looks like I can here... but the ZIP file is too large.for the forum to accept it.

Please upload it to the cloud and send the download link to me in a private message. Thank you.

Thanks for sending the link.

The problem is the read-only "_3CX_Main_Menu" folder you have inside the project "Output\Release". Delete that folder, build again, and the build will succeed.

Awesome, thanks!
