If you are looking at checking the state of some extension, eg ringing or busy then this will work for Snoms and Grandstreams

When it will works with linksys, for example with LINKSYS SPA962 + SPA932(new BLF module ?) Thank you.

We just didn't test it with linksys. If Linksys properly uses dialog-info for it - it sould work.

busy lamp field

the functionality I am looking for would just be who is on what line. So if ext 101, is talking to somone, and i have a button for them, it would show them on the phone. I am using grandstream 2000 and 2020 phones.

What version is this supported in? and can you point me in the direction to configure it?

We have a bug in build 3287 which prevents correct work of BLF with Grandstreams. The build we have now in QA has this bug fixed, and GXP-2020 works just great. For GXP-2000 you need to have latest firmware installed, as far as I know.
Re configuration - simple search in inet will give you tons of samples how to configure it for asterisk. You don't need to configure anything on 3CX PBX side, so just use those samles as a hint how to configure a phone.

i have takesome looks in the inet for config 2020 for BLF but i read here first time that i canput inthe same then is asterisk! best is to but a note in the tech manual?

So, I don't really know that anyone has addressed this? Is this a feature of the phone? or the Sip Server? If someone, can somone help me configure this?

it is a feature of the phone (indicateing a busy line/extension) but it need info from the pbx i think - and i have no info about to config this
