Buying 4 line Standard Licence

if Standard is going away and StartUP Pro has a limit of 20 users, then all installs over 20 will require a non-StartUP Pro license?

Will companies that have a paid Standard continue to function until renewal? But then at that point must renew at Pro?

Yes they would need to get PRO for above 20 users. Standard sales make up a very very small portion of our license sales and PRO is already very cheap. Good point about renewals.... But before it goes away you can buy several years no issue at all.

I run two 3cx installation, both self hosted

• Live system with 6 phones, 1 fax machine, 3 incoming lines, local calles almost never made so max 3 simultaneous calls, 1 ring group, custom Voip providers but no call recording, no external devices, no mobiles applications, no video.
• Test bed with 1 phone & 1 fax, 1 incoming line, Max 1 simultaneous calls & custom VoIP providers.

For both installation the "Dedicated Standard" 4 line licence is more than enough.

• Given the standard licence is being removed and I can only keep it if I buy it now. How do I pay for a licence which is now free?
• Alternatively is a micro installation / test bed option planned to replace the 4 line dedicated standard category?

The Dedicated standard free will remain free. 4SC standard becomes our new free edition which we have had for many years. If standard is enough for you you dont need to do anything.... Just pay for hosting if you use our hosting.

Thanks, fore warning is very helpful in planing solutions.

My systems are all on premise, so no hosting just indirect administration costs.
Actually they are both part of a DIY "All in one router" using Proxmox/KVM, pfsense, 3cx, UniFi. White listed IP addresses are used to minimise the internet attack surface. The solution is low power, feature rich, works well & has generous capacity; so nice from an engineerig perspective but perhaps my time spent playing suggests it's part hobby.
