When callers access our staff directory using the "Call By Name" functionality in 3CX, they are sometimes returned a list of > 1 potential destinations based on their search criteria. The list is presented to callers as:
"To call to [user's recorded ID message], press 0. To call to [user's recorded ID message], press 1." [.....]
While perfectly reasonable as options, we find that callers, upon realizing that the first option is the one they want, do not await the subsequent instruction on reaching that option, and instead dial "1", hoping to be connected to the "1st" option.
To be honest, this makes sense to me. Having option "0" as the "1st" option is counter-intuitive to non ICT people.
I am not a CSharp programmer.
Is there a means of modifying this default behaviour to route "1" as the "1st" option, and "2" as the "2nd" option, etc...?
Thank you.
