Is there any way for a caller to back out of the "Call by Name" menu? Impatient callers are button-mashers and we have rewarded them by having nothing occupy "0" or "9" and sending "1" straight to the dial by name feature. It would be somewhat nice for a user to be able to cancel and head back to the main menu (or whatever IVR we choose) instead of making them hang up and call again. From what I can tell the ONLY option the caller has is to hang up and start over if they don't know anyone's last name in the directory.

Are there any customizable options for this feature?

Part of your message could be..."Blah, Blah ,Blah.*...and press 2 to return to the main menu", then set that to send them back to the IVR (again).

* Don't actually say "Blah, Blah, Blah" :)

The call by name option does not allow to to manipulate ANYTHING on the admin side from what I can see. It's not a conventional IVR that allows you to use a button press to get back to the main menu. That's what I'm asking how to do, but that option simply doesn't exist from what I can tell. Once the user enters the call by name menu they have no way of backing out of the menu. The only two options are blindly pressing 3 letters until they get someone with that letter combination (almost certainly in the wrong department) or hanging up and calling back.

For what it's worth, I'd also like to see if there was a report I could generate to see how many callers are actually using that feature.
