We are currently trying to integrate our 3CX pbx (on-site v16) with Salesforce Service Console. We have successfully gone through the integration procedures as listed in https://www.3cx.com/docs/salesforce-crm-integration/. From the Saleforce side we are trying to setup the Call Center where is is looking for some kind of 3CX definition file (xml) "import the adapter's default XML call center definition file into salesforce.com. The call center definition file is located in the adapter's installation directory, and is typically named after the type of CTI system that the adapter supports" Does anyone know where to find this xml file? Is there a generic file we can use and modify for our environment? Thank you SF

Shane,

I what are your goals of the integration?

3cx uses a server-side integration and leverages web services for interfacing systems. CTI interfaces are usually for interfacing with telephony equipment (actual phones). It's kind of the old way of doing things....

What requirements are not being met after you completed the setup from the guide you reference in your post?

we are looking to have a phone interface (connecting to 3cx) within the Salesforce Service Console. this was demonstrated with another phone system and was told that it would work with 3cx

Shane,

I had a client who setup 3cx to work with SF. We got it setup using the 3cx guides. This was a very basic, out-of-the-box type of interface. It sounds like you are trying to do something more complex. 3cx and forum members are very helpful, here, but we need a little more detail on what your are trying to achieve with the interface. Are you trying to auto-generate service tickets on inbound calls?

This is not something created by 3CX. Maybe a third party developer did something like that, but that's not the integration we provide... You should find out who is the developer of that integration, and ask them to share it with you somehow...

The integration we provide is what you mentioned that you already configured:
