Hi guys,
I have an issue with the call forward set in a Snom Phone and I see the error below, someone could help me?

Thanks

DO NOT use the call forward of the phone. It is not supported and as you can see, doesn't work. It can cause many issues.

Use the Forwarding Rules under the Extension and then simply change status.

Hi Frederick, you are right but the end-user experience is not satisfying. Do you have another solution?

Not really. The forwarding in 3CX is super flexible and using the Webclient to change status (or simply Extension > BLF, then use the buttons to change status) is simple.

Why is the user not satisfied with the Webclient, or even the Windows app?

The user mentality in the company is very traditional, they have used this method for years and you would agree with me that the changes are very hard in that case, they begin to do the questions about and for me it is very useful to use the windows app.

I can understand that but unfortunately they want to do something that doesn't work. You can set BLF keys to change status and just set the forwarding rules yourself. Then they just have 1 button to press, it's even easier than using CallForward on the phone!

Sometimes, we need to say "no it's not how it works" instead of "I know you're used to this or that". We have to show people how to modernize...
