Hi,

I did post a similar question few days ago but I haven't use the right term. I want to know if this is possible to forward calls to a cell phone from outside the LAN or the office? Ex.: I'm somewhere and I realise that I forgot to enable forwarding calls to my cell phone (not the 3CX client apps) before I left the office. Can I enable it by calling the office number and then my extension and so...? Or this is not possible?

Thanks in advance!

Might be possible using the your Voicemail calling "out" options, but what you're attempting to do have to do is to make the set "unavailable", so that call forward would then enable. I'm not certain that you can dial any special features through that method.

It would be easier if you used the 3CX App to change status (make the extension unavailable), or...use the Ring my Mobile at the same time option, then all calls would ring you mobile as well as your desk phone.

Ok thanks! I'll have a look at this.

If i understand correctly you want a way to change your extensions forwarding rules without using the 3CX client.
If you have a DID pointing to a digital receptionist then once the Digital receptionist answers the call you can use direct dialling to dial to the voicemail extension. The voicemail menu will ask you to login into your extension. Once you do then you can use the voicemail menu to change your status and forward call to the pre-configured destinations.

Hi,

Can you tell me what is DID pointing to a digital receptionist? And is there a procedure for that?

Thank you and have a nice day!
