Call forwarding

when the user is in AWAY status and setup is done to get the call by

Forward external calls to
Extension Number 101

But it says cancel when called and hang ups phone.
3cx don't allow to give their own extension when away.?? works with other ext. no....

We need more information to help... Is this a Live Chat problem? Your trying to forward a call from extension number ??? to 101?

I assume you can call 101 from another extension? And I assume you can route the external call directly to 101? If both those tests work... then I don't have a guess, but I suspect one of the two tests will fail. You should be able to forward an external call to an extension.
