Solved Call from Extension to Extension fails

I have 20 Yealink t29g phones with the suggested 3cx firmware. The reception uses anYealink expansion module. Half of the extensions are remote connected using STUN. To contact a remote extension, reception picks up the handset and pushes the corresponding BLF. About half of the time, the BLF indicator light does not switch from green to red and no ringing occurs. If reception waits long enough, it goes to the dialed extension voicemail. Below are two logs; the first is unsuccessful and the second is successful. The logs diverge at

When you say ‘half of the extensions are remote’ , how many phones are at each location.

if you have multiply phones at the same location have you

1. Assigned different sip / rtp ports to each phone.
2. Given the phone a fixed up address (can be done via DHCP reservation)
3. Setup port forwarding on the firewall protecting the phones, to forward the correct sip and rtp ports to the correct phone.

Wondering why the unsuccessful log has the additional entry the I formatted in bold. It seems that if the unsuccessful has that line and the successful doesn't, that line must provide some clue as to the problem.

Is only one set (Ext 100) , at the remote location using port 5060? If you use that port on multiple extensions, then depending which one made the last outgoing call may affect whether or not the next incoming call will work. As mentioned, if using STUN, then it needs to be set up correctly at that location.
