Hello all,

I've spent the last few hours trying to solve this for a client... Google hasn't helped much since all results I can find are related to what is displayed in a call but not in the History / Call Log.

The problem is pretty self-explanatory, in the phone's History/Call Log, it's only displaying the extension number, so I need to go to Details or call back to see to whom this extension is assigned.

In this case, it's a Yealink T42S. On my own company's PBX, the names display perfectly.

I've looked in 3CX, in the extension rights, in the contacts, in the phone's settings, and nothing seems to solve this.

Any ideas?

Best regards,
Francisco.

Hello @Francisco Ferrao

If you go into the phones phonebook that it gets from 3CX do you see the extensions listed as contacts there? Also are you using the default templates and supported 3CX firmware?

Hello.

Yes, I do see it. The firmware installed is also supported by 3CX. I've looked all around into extension's rights, etc, but can't find anything wrong.

Best regards,
Francisco.

On your working PBX are you also running Lydis firmware? We provide the option to update your Lydis firmware but we do not support it nor test it. I would recommend trying a phone with the supported firmware and see if that works as there is no special option for getting this to work.

Going to update to supported 66.83.0.55 and will let you know the outcome.

Thank you.

UPDATE: So I installed the official firmware from Yealink 66.83.0.55 and the phone now displays the name of the extension instead of the number.

Glad to see it worked for you using the supported firmware. Unfortunately as i mentioned before we do not support nor test the Lydis firmware so i would recommend contacting Lydis for this issue and see if they can get it resolved.
