call pick-up, no number

Hello There,

we have a 3CX system with 130 Yealink T46G phones.
we have programmed *8 as the key voor call pick-up.

when we use this function, *8 doensn't change in the caller number and we can't see who is calling.
is this something that i can change in 3CX or with the config file?

To confirm - when you perform a call pickup (20 as default) you want to see the caller-ID of the caller on the screen of the phone ? at the moment I imagine you see a description like "group pickup" or the star code yes ?

thank you for your reply.
our pickup code is *8 and when we use it we only see *8.

what i want to see is that *8 disapeers and the caller number/name is shown.

Please make sure that the dial code you are using is not conflicting with another dial code and try again. As a test switch the dial code for pickup back to 20 and see if you can replicate the issue that way.

i just test 20 as the pickup code, but the issue is not solved.
when i use 20, i see 20 in the screen en it doesn't change to the caller number.

In that case how are the phones provisioned, local or remote? Also are you running the 3CX supported firmware and default templates?

Hi YiannisH_3CX,

provisioning is done by 3CX server with a custom template.
we are using firmware version 28.81.188.7 (Lidys/Dutch)

Can you provision a phone with the 3CX default template and change the firmware to the supported 3CX firmware as a test to see if the issue can be replicated? Lidys firmware is not tested by us, we only provide the option to upgrade it through the management console.

Hi YiannisH_3CX,
i have first tested it with the default template. the results was the same voor *8 and *20. we didn't get the call id.

then i provisioned 1 phone with T46- 28.80.0.130.rom and T46-28.83.0.55.rom with the same result that i don't see who is calling.
