Guys,

We have a customer with 6 extensions on a 3CX hosted platform and the managing director wants to receive all incoming calls for 3 rings, then the call to be passed to a ring group (all other extensions).

He has a W60B DECT base station and 6 x W56H handsets.

The above setup works well. However, sometimes the managing director doesn't get to answer the incoming call within 3 rings and finds himself chasing downstairs to answer the call on the other handsets (!)

The call pickup code of *20* does not work.

Is there any solution to this?

Thanks in advance

The question is, why doesn't call pick-up work, from the DECT handsets.

I assume it does work from other phones.
Could it be that *20 is being used, internally, by the Yealink, as a local feature, so it never reaches 3CX?

This should've worked, please check the following:

1. The extension ringing shows its presence and its calls to group members.
"Extensions >> Edit >> Rights"

2. The extension picking up the call (performing the *20*) can see presence and calls of the ringing extension "Extensions >> Edit >> Rights"

3. The extension picking up the call has the "Perform Operations" right enabled.

4. Both involved extensions are in the same group.

5. Go into "Settings >> Dial Codes" and make sure that *20* is actually set as the Pickup Dial code and that there are no overlapping Dial Codes (Other Dial Codes set as *20* or something similar like *2, etc)

If even after doing the above you still get the same, go into "Settings >> General" and disable the following option and save:
