Hi Team

I am trying to use the Call Processing Script for set Out of Hours / Set in Hours https://www.3cx.com/blog/call-flow-scripts/force-pbx-hours/

Even though I have set the Department for the Dial Code, it still sets the entire system to be away, not just the selected Department.

Are there any plans to update the script to take in to account the selected Department so that it can be used across a business with many departments each with their own hours to be able to set in / out using a dial code?

It looks like it has been considered from the front end using the Override office hours from the Web Admin / PWA and does obey the department.

By default the script will apply to the PBX globally.
If this has to be specific then you need to adjust the script accordinly. Check also this forum post here for further reference.

Thanks @TheodorosG_3CX

I had seen that :) I guess my question was more around why the script asked for the department, yet it didn't respect the department.
The script probably needs to be updated to obey the department (if system wide apply all departments, else, apply to selected department), or, the front end needs to reflect not asking for the department and be clear on the application. I hope that clarifies.

I guess the script is in some way there in the backend doing that, as that's what the Override office hours screen is doing.

No biggie, it's just putting some polish on it :)

Best

The original 3CX call scripts does exactly what it suggests: It changes the availability of all departments (regardless it's own departmental affiliation) until midnight.
If you or someone need some other things - feel free to build it yourself and publish it here (or ask about it ;) )

I'll have to polish up on my C+ skills. Haven't had to write in C since about the same time as I had to write in Assembly.
