Hi,

couple of issues:

Queue setup memeber = 1001, 4001, 4002

1) Queues all work fine but if extension 4001 is on the phone while an incoming call is coming and and then 4001 becomes available and the incoming call is still ringing. 4001 phone does not ring with the other 2 phones. When the queue status announces “ you are 1 in the queue” 4001 does then ring but the call seems to also ring 1004. Where 1004 is not in the members of the queue or linked in any way.

How can I make it so that as soon as 4001 is available that its back in the queue?

2) We had an issue before where someone was on the phone (1005) and a call came in to their queue. It was ringing extension (1002) then after a period it cut off and extension (1005) was cut from its call and was left with our hold music. Is this a know issue where calls can be cut off or switching queues?

Thanks

For part 1 - you can really only do this by shortening the ring time of the queue at the top of the page (not the total queue time at the bottom).

This is normally used for hunts not ring alls but the theory works the same but you will get more "missed calls" the shorter the length.

When 4001 was on the phone the pbx knew that and so didnt send an invite to it. When it finished its call the pbx is still on the first invites. It was coincidence that the queue announcement and the next set of invites (controlled by the ring time at the top as i mentioned before) were the same. When the ring time was reached the pbx then does the next set of invites (in a hunt this would be the next number in the list) which in a ring all is all of them again and this time it sees 4001 is available. So if you really want to do it, shorten the ring time to 5 or 10 seconds.

For part 2. This should not happen (I assume that 1005 and 1002 are in the same queue). Was the queue on ring all or a hunt? May have to post logs, especially if it happens again.

yes they are in the same queue and ring all is selected...

Can you post some logs for that time period?

Can you replicate the problem? IF so can you post the logs? If not wait until it happens again and then post them.
