Does 3CX have something in place to prevent other organizations or people from call spoofing and/or blocking robocalls? Also, is there a way to set a limit on the number of times within a day that a specific number can call into the system?

As far as I know, 3CX does not subscribe to a "spam caller" list where it could block a spam call. Nor does 3CX currently support the ability to block calls from the same location based on how many calls received per day.

While it is easy to block a given phone number manually, it would require a collective effort from many 3CX partners/customers to compile a list of "spam callers". It could be done. It should be done. But it has not been built yet.

It would, however, be straightforward to keep track of how many times a DID called each day and block the caller if the called too many times. It would require that you route all calls through a Call Flow Designer application or the development of a custom service to implement this.

SPAM callers , other than legitimate businesses, rarely use "real", working numbers (at least, not their own), and will change them often, so they are very difficult to block, by using the caller ID.

If SPAM callers have become a problem, speak to your provider, to see if they can help at all. If you don't ask, the answer is automatically , NO.

The other thing you can do, is to make callers "jump through a hoop" by requiring a DTMF input, in an IVR before the call will proceed, to a person. Of course, every situation is different and this is not going to work for everyone.
