I have 2 lines in Patton , i call from line 1 and the call directs to IVR , then i select my extension , if extension doesn't pickup by anyone call should be made to outside number , which will exit from line 2 . its working but the problem is when both parties hangsup the call , call still exits in the 3CX , which makes line busy .

i have seen with wire shark that no SIP bye is there thats why 3CX not terminating the call .

how can i fix this in patton ? patton not detecting the line is hangup , it still sends garbage value .

May be some regional timer hang up detection not set properly related to your location and then both ends don't see a hang up occurs so line stay busy

yeah ! some times it work , i have tried every thing ! help me :/

Unfortunately, i'm not able to help on Patton as I don't use this brand .
But i've already got similar problem using other brand gateway, and this was only settings to change related to regional timers accordingly to your providers lines.

okay its on default , i try to set this according to my country .

Thanks

perhaps if you have sections like:
PSTN Disconnect Detection settings

If so take care about the disconnect tone, and level gateway recognize it.

The most accurate PSTN disconnect method is to use CPC (scroll down to Calling Part Control) . It may have another name, in the gateway options.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supervision_(telephony)

This is if your PSTN provider offers the feature. You still have to set the gateway to acknowledge it, and drop the call.

The next choice to to use the disconnect tone method. You must set the gateway to recognise the particular tone(s) sent by your provider when the line is kept off-hook after the called party has hung up. The last resort (least accurate) is silence detection. There is usually a duration, and threshold setting on most gateways.

Yes , i figured it out it was disconnect tone issue , i have by default busytone and loop break and i added one more battery reversal . it worked for me . now calls dont stay even after hangup !!!!

Thanks amazing people !

Many providers don't, by default, offer battery reversal. It is commonly used for coin phone lines, where answer supervision is required, and most times, is an additional charge. If it works for you, great.
