This has been a nagging problem. I am using yealink T46S phones. Many users like to use the call history to find missed calls and dial them back.
One of my SIP trunk providers sends the caller ID number with a + at the front. (ie; +18005555555) When they try to dial back, it fails. When I check the call log on 3CX, it shows that the number is dialed missing the country code 1. So something with that + is dropping the required country code and the call is failing when calling back from history.
Is there an easy way to resolve this? I don't really want to get into creating complicated rules to resolve this. With my other sip trunk provider, I don't get this + problem. Any ideas? Thanks!!
