Caller ID Name - Outbound

Hey,

Does anyone here know if it's possible to set Caller ID Names with 3CX?

We have a customer who would like to be able to display their company name when they call people, our SiP Provider isn't aware of anything on their end so thought I would come here

Ask them about "Outbound CNAM Storage" instead of "Caller ID", your provider should be giving you the ability to do this.

Your Caller ID (CID) displays your phone number to the individual you are calling, while CNAM displays the name associated with your phone number.

Sometimes this is also called CNAP

We let our customers set this easily in our portal:

It can take up to 48 hours for the name to propagate to other CNAM databases.
