Hi,

We are using Fanvil X3G handsets and Gamma trunks with our 3CX system. All is working fine apart from the incoming caller ID is not passed on when the call is transfered to another extension. All the new extension shows is the calling extensions number.

I've Googled how to fix this but no joy.

Can anyone give any pointers on how to fix this?

Thanks

Hello @steve hutton

Are you doing an attended or blind transfer? What version is the PBX? You can see the exact build number on the dashboard under the information column.
Also what firmware are the phones running and are you using the default 3CX templates?

Hi,

Its doing it on attended transfer. (Blind transfer is working)
System build is No 15.5.0
The phones are on v 2.3.2.4673 but I will be updating them this eveing to the latest relese that came out a couple of weeks ago. I'm also using the default 3CX templates.

Hi, I've updated 2 handsets to 2.4.0.5572, tested it and the problem is still the same.

Make sure that you are running the latest 3CX Sp5. The build number is 15.5.13103.5 and that no templates are pending for download. If you are then once the transfer is completed you should see the originators number of the phone.
Also make sure that under extension settings / Options / Troubleshooting the options "Supports Re-Invites" and "Support Replaces header" are enabled.

Its build No 15.5.13103.5 and both options are enabled.

Any other ideas?

I just checked with the appropriate department and this is a known issue with the X3 and X4 models. Fanvil is also aware of this issue and they are working on a solution in their next firmware release for these phones. This is a firmware issue and we need to wait for an update version from fanvil.
