When I try to call an extention (local to local), I get the following error:

Caller is not resolved or forbidden, sent 403 response

18:21:52.867 CallConf::saveCallEvent Incoming c11 "101"<sip:[email protected]> "0102"<sip:[email protected]> Incoming call (before routing)
18:21:52.877 CallConf::saveCallEvent Rejected c11 "101"<sip:[email protected]> "0102"<sip:[email protected]> Caller is not resolved or forbidden, sent 403 response
18:21:52.877 CallConf::saveCallEvent Terminated c11 "101"<sip:[email protected]> "0102"<sip:[email protected]> Call ended

Both caller and callee are register and their status is "on hook".

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Firewall

Do you have a firewall running on the machine? If yes can you disable it and try again?

Can you call the other phone directly using its IP, i.e bypassing 3Cx Phone SYstem completely?

Firewalls are disabled on both PCs.

I haven't tried bypassing 3cx as I don't know how to place call directly.

Hi,

You seem to be calling 0102. Use the 0 prefix to place external calls only. I think you should be dialing 102. Can you please check if this solves you problem?
Thanks

I am not dialing 0. I am only dialing 101 or 102.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. If you really dialled 102, I do not see any other explanation why the system logged ""0102"<sip:[email protected]>" other than that your phone (or soft phone) is adding the 0. I beleive so because the first line of the log "(before routing)" is the request exactly how the 3CX PhoneSystem received the call (no alterations).

Can you let us know which client you are using?, or maybe please try to place a call with our softphone first. It is a very light and straigh forward tool. http://www.3cx.com/voip/voip-phone/ . If you need a walk through the manual has a clear guide under the "configuring a software based SIP phone" section.

You can also check in the "Line Status" page to see if your phone is properly registered using the right username and password.
