Calling an external number back - call is dropped immediately

A 3CX PBX was installed for a client yesterday. One extension reports that when they try and call a mobile or landline number back by double-clicking the contact under 'missed calls', the system starts to make the call but it is dropped after a second.

If the same extension dials the same number directly (rather than double-clicking a number in the missed calls list) it works fine.

The activity log shows the following:

Any suggestions, please?

It looks like it's stripping the leading 0 and therefore it cannot dial the mobile number back.

How does the number appear in the call log? is it +44782? If so, have you configured E164 in PBX Settings?

Alternatively, set up an outbound rule to prepend 0 with digits the length of 10.

You might also consider reformatting the incoming caller ID, to make the number dial-able, using the current rules.
