calling fax extension

I have a ATA grandstream Ht801 setup using a SBC. I only have 1 DID on my voxtelesys trunk which I have assigned to a fax extension 8800. I have tested using a user extension and the line and fax are ringing. Now I am trying to use a fax extension but there is no option to assign the fax extension on the trunk. I am using V20. is there a way to set this up on V20?

For incoming calls (faxes in this case), just go to the fax extension and assign the DID.

I have assigned the DID to the fax extension. It is still acting using the trunk default route. This is the main trunk DID. Would that affect it?
