Calling from call history

Hi, we have a customer who's pbx is hosted with 3cx but based over in ireland. We have two outbound rules set international with a 00 prefix and a national rule with 0 as the prefix. Customer has a voiceflex international sip trunk with all numbers formatted to e164 with canonical with plus. Calls come in perfectly, however when the customer has missed a call and they try and call out from the call history page they are unable to. Please help

Check your e164 settings.

These will modify the UK numbers according to the e164 settings. You can disable your e164 config and just do the number processing solely through your outbound rules.

Please see below a valid e164 configuration of London



If a call is dialled as +4420 then the call will go out as 020
If a call is dialled as 020 it will go out as 020
If a call is dialled as 01392 then it will go out as 01392
If a call is dialled as +441392 then it will go out as 01392

Please note that the area code is NOT set as 020.

This should allow you to use your existing outbound rules.
