CallVia3CX Chrome Extension always tries to start Skype in Connectwise

I followed the instructions in the "Buggy Click to Dial / CallVia3CX Chrome Extension" thread and made sure the 3cx app opens CALLTO and TEL protocols.
If I click on a phone number in a web page it works.

If I click on a dial option in Connectwise it tries to open Skype (skype is diabled as integration in Connectwise).
How can I associate the "Connectwise telephone call" with the 3cx softphone app?

We used the 3CX TAPI settings to integrate with the ConnectWise internet app. That is still working.

However, the CRM plugin, and the ConnectWise Outlook Add-In, are opening the CW web app in IE and those links pull up Skype for us as well. I looked at it for bit and gave up - we just use the 3CX hotkey combo to dial from IE.
