I have an interesting conundrum.

When I try to video call using the Windows Client, I can't use my laptop's integrated camera (or screen share).

Things I've checked:
- windows privacy settings for camera (3CX client does not show up)
- reinstalled the client
- updated camera drivers
- updated laptop BIOS (Lenovo Thinkpad)

Strangely enough,my co-workers don't have this issue (I can see their camera/screen...)

I'm not even sure this is 3CX related or just my laptop, but Ithought I'd throw it in here to be sure.
The Camera works fine with other apps, that's why I'm sceptical of it being 3CX...

Hi,

You need to specifically enable those two circled options,

Can you please confirm?

that's what I meant with the privacy settings.
just to confirm, they are set to allow it, but the 3CX client app does not appear in the list of desktop apps that are allowed...

Take a look in the app's video settings, see if video is enabled and you can detect a camera there.

In the below example you see a Logitech cam being detected.

You can also try changing the settings in case the camera does not support the specific resolution/framerate combo

(sorry it's in dutch)
as you can see, it's detected in the app.
I've tried adjusting the resolution and framerate, to no avail

I noticed you also have OBS installed. Are your co-workers using the same laptop and cam, but without OBS installed?

they use different laptops, I can uninstall OBS to see if that works.

Yes, give it a try and reboot the PC too.

It's also a good idea to check Windows Update and click here to see if you have any optional updates for your hardware

checked the updates this morning, I'm up to date :)
I uninstalled OBS, but 3CX is still detecting the OBS camera...

Do a quick search on "How to Uninstall OBS Virtual Camera".

It looks like it does not get removed automatically, but I believe they have an uninstall script for it.
