I want to use my camera of Escense Intercom Doorphone to view the caller during its answer the call. is it possible to do that in 3CX?
If the doorphone supports H264 or VP8, yes. Obviously, configuration must be precise and this brand isn't supported so no easy way.I want to use my camera of Escense Intercom Doorphone to view the caller during its answer the call. is it possible to do that in 3CX?
The doorphone was supported for H264 Codec, but no H264 configuration for 3CX.If the doorphone supports H264 or VP8, yes. Obviously, configuration must be precise and this brand isn't supported so no easy way.
Hi,Hi,
The 3CX Webclient and Desktop apps can receive video from supported devices (like for example the Fanvil i30, or the Yealink T58).
When it comes to unsupported devices then the answer is: maybe.
You will have to setup the device by yourself, and also troubleshoot it by yourself.

Hi John,Hi,
There is zero configuration needed on the 3CX side. If the clients receive an invite that contains video, they will negotiate SDP with video and will most likely work.
It's the same with supported doorphones: they send an invite that contains video, and the 3CX client accepts so long as it is in a format it can understand.
If your doorphone sends the video in a format which the client does not understand, then you will simply end up in an audio-only call.
You could tweak the video settings on your doorphone until you find a combination that works. Usually changing the codec Level and Bitrate, or if the device offers two streams limit it to one, and you might be able to get it working.
Yes its possible but only with 3CX web-client, 3CX desktop client, and some models of 3CX supported IP phones like the Yealink T58W. 3CX has not implemented Open H264 (Royalty Free) codec support in their mobile app yet. So that there is no confusion, even 3CX offically supported video doorbells don't pass through video to 3CX mobile, you will get audio with loading symbol on video due to this limitation.I want to use my camera of Escense Intercom Doorphone to view the caller during its answer the call. is it possible to do that in 3CX?
Have you found any established name brand video doorbell manufacturer that supports VP8? I've looked but haven't found one yet, however, if you have I'd be interested in checking them out!If the doorphone supports H264 or VP8, yes.
